HOORAY! The official Celestial Ring website is now Live! So lets Celebrate!

Wouldn’t you believe that the art and concept of “Celestial Ring” has been around since 2011? Yep, all starting from a simple yet inspiring humanoid drawing of our lovely Earth, shared over on the art platform of Deviantart for the world to see. I thought nothing major of it back then, and was only having fun with creating original characters to represent all the planets and moons of our solar system. Oh Boy was I wrong. It quickly began gaining some attention and over time gaining a fairly healthy and amazing fan base that I still cherish to this day!
I’m declaring that 2024 is the year to restart all things Celestial Ring, and launching its official website is where it will all begin!!! Since though, the story of CR has been in a rather limbo state due to personal reasons, but not any more!
Celestial Ring is NOW live everyone! And there is sooooo much being planned for this series to finally make a comeback hopefully in a big and exciting way!
So here is a little roadmap for how we are planning to go forward with CR. None in particular order.
NEW ARTWORKS - Yes this right here is a major MUST for getting this project up and rolling! Not only is this step necessary, but all the following artworks made will more than likely be used for promotional content that I’ll be going over later on. But as far as the types of artworks involved? I’m talking reference sheets, full-body dynamic poses, chibi art, pinups, you name it! And for each individual character involved within the series….Would you believe that there is a total count of 58 characters?!?!? WILD I KNOW! But i’m committed and it has to been done.
MAKING MERCH/ SHOPS - YEEEES wouldn’t you know that this step is already in the making!!! Ever since I started a Kickstarter campaign late last year, i’ve really REALLY been invested in making fun little trinkets just for Celestial Ring! Enamel pins (which are currently in production), stickers, bookmarkers, keychains, standees (another item in production) YOU NAME IT!! Its gonna be wild and I cannot wait to share them with you all!!
NEW KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGN - I must admit that I jumped into my last kickstarter campaign a little too quickly and didn’t do enough to hype the project. BUT with your support, engagement, consistency and of course new art, a second kickstarter will be in the works!!! I am hoping to get it up and running around APRIL 22!! MARK YOUR CALENDARS YALL, THATS ON EARTH’S DAY!
ARTBOOK(S) - Have plans to create an artwork of the series! For the most part this idea is already in the works. Plans for what’s to be inside this artbook? A LOT of old artworks and sketches throughout the early years and some artworks that've never been seen before!
Doing this will also be a part of yet another kickstarter campaign, more than likely following after the currently planned KS launch.
COMICS/MANGA - You’ve heard that right!! It's been such a long time coming…And for a while I've been really wanting to start a comic/webcomic on Celestial Ring. I’ve gotten the surrounding story already down packed! Now I just need to ACTUALLY get it going! On my latest webcomic over on Webtoons called “Picking Cherri”, the whole purpose of making that series was for practice reasons. I needed to see what I was capable of making as far as the art style, pages, flow, panels and so on. It has helped me SO MUCH! And with that I feel I am ready to get this chapter of the CR story started!
SOCIALS - Gonna be getting this up and running as well! In the past I did make a discord server dedicated to CR but…..that’s a pretty much inactive space now. BUT as the ball gets rolling again, there will be a new server for everyone to join! I’m also planning to bring back Patreon for those who wish to support the work personally! I haven’t post much to those socials just yet, but as new art is made, and status updates comes through, i’ll have it up and going for ya soon ^-^!
I feel as though i’m missing something from this list lol! But for the most part I think i’ve covered all the important topics. So here’s my plans for this YEAR! ALL THINGS CELESTIAL RING is into full gear everyone! So don’t panic when you start to see all my uploads of CR artworks heh heh! You heard it first HERE! And I cannot wait!!!
Oh and I must MUST mention that I am receiving an enormous amount of help, advice, guidance, and hands on input on this project from a supportive and long time DA friend @Jonot. Someone that has been such a helpful and very involved partner for shaping Celestial Ring and all these upcoming projects. Just want to say thank you BRO, your one in a million!!!
